Flores actinomorphi 5-7-meri dialypetali axillares, coeruleo-lilacini;
Stamina radialiter biseriatim fasciculata, maturatione centrifuga, antheris basifixis;
Ovarium triloculare, carpellis ad axem placentiferum coalitis caeterum sejunctis, parte valvari a latere compressa maturitate ab axe secedente;
Semina in quoque loculo biseriata, recta, applanata, endospermio vix obvio, embryo rectus, spathulatus, radicula inter lobos basales cotyledonorum occultata;
Genus et species unica.
