Protologue - English translation

Shrub or small tree slender to 5 m height;
Branches more or less zigzag, young sparsely covered with short lived straight rigid bristle-like hairs;
Leaf thickly membranous petioles, petiole 9-12 mm long; lamina narrow oblong to lanceolate 6-11.5 cm long 1.5-3.5 cm wide narrow, gradually tapering to a narrow tip or short sharp point curving inwards to itself obtuse, base acute or a little obtuse, close sharp toothed serrated margin, underside hairless, veins [venisque?] slightly raised, underneath somewhat pale barely to nerve ribs, sparse flattened to long soft straight hairs, in axil veins sparse beard of long weak hairs, veins lateral both side laterals 3 or 4;
Raceme solitary or 2-3 clustered as far as 3.5 cm long, loose many flowered, pedicel almost 3 mm long hairless, rachis sparse fine long soft straight hairs, bract minute sheath;
Capsule 3.5 mm long a little spherical, hairless, apex ending abruptly in a small slender point
